Bringing Jewelry Loans Back to Stein’s
Stein’s has a long history in the jewelry loan business. In the early 2000s, the previous ownership, including Ken Stein, stopped offering jewelry loans due to changes and requirements surrounding lending regulations.
Under new ownership, Stein’s worked with the City of Milwaukee to once again offer loans using qualifying jewelry as collateral. Today, customers can bring in eligible jewelry and explore a loan option without a traditional credit check.
